The challenge

Meat production has a big ecological footprint. With a growing world population, the demand for food is getting bigger, while resources are getting smaller. Farming insects is a solution, as insects have a much smaller impact on the environment, and are meanwhile very nutritional. However, in our Western society there is a taboo on human insect consumption. Insects are associated with poverty and filth. It is not socially accepted to eat them.

The solution

We have developed a brownie baking kit, containing crickets. This baking kit makes insect consumption fun, accessible and most of al.. tasty! This way, we lower the threshold of eating insects.
